Product video ad prices: shot vs AI-made (2026)

For a small brand, the first question is usually the same: "What does a short ad video for my product cost?" The answer depends heavily on how the video is made. Here we put the two routes side by side with sourced price ranges: a traditional shoot and AI production.

A traditional shoot: what you pay for

In a shot product film, most of the money goes to the studio, crew, lighting, equipment and edit. Listings on Armut put promotional film shoots in Turkey at roughly 4,000–35,000 TL depending on scope. Even a product photo shoot alone averages 2,000–90,000 TL on Armut, and quotes for requests in Istanbul often start at 15,000 TL. The product also has to travel to the studio and the shoot day has to be planned.

AI production: what changes

There is no studio and no shoot day. We start from the product's photos and build the scene, light and motion with AI. Abroad, a single AI-made short ad video (15–45 s, UGC style) typically costs $50–150 from independent creators and $200–500 from agencies (Vantaige, 2026). At the CBRT rate of 1 October 2026 ($1 = 49.03 TL), that is about 2,450–7,350 TL and 9,800–24,500 TL.

What drives the price

  • Length and number of scenes: a 15-second film and a 30-second campaign film are not the same amount of work.
  • Number of formats: 9:16 for Reels, 4:5 for the feed, 1:1 square. Each needs its own layout.
  • Variations: testing the same product from different angles on Meta usually teaches you more than a single video. Three different videos are worth more than one.
  • Revision rounds and delivery time.
  • Controlled motion: scenes like a rotating bottle or turntable take extra work.

Which one fits you?

If you want to show your product in a real place with real people, a shoot may still be the right call. If your goal is to move your Meta ads from static images to video and try different ideas quickly, AI production gives you more variations for less.
